1970s Vintage Silver Amethyst offers Women's Brooch

A stunning 1970s amethyst crystal and silver studio designed brooch, measuring measures 4.5cm (2 1/4 inches) long and 2.5cm (1 inch) wide and weighs 16.5 grams. It has an 835 silver content mark indicating it's of continental origin.  The design offers brings to mind a comet trailing textured silver through the sky. The fastener is a strong safety catch with a sturdy pin. The pin could be threaded through a chain so it can be worn as a pendant.
