1 piece Antique Faux Tortoiseshell Round Button with Gold Accents with Monogram B or D.

Lovely piece with minor flaw please see phot #1, there is a tiny part of the gold missing. Very well made. I have only wiped this with a cloth, no water. There are surface scratches.

Tortoiseshell was a popular material for jewelry and hair combs throughout the 19th century. I'm not an expert with tortoiseshell so selling this as faux tortoiseshell.

Gold content was not tested. This is very old.

I did not clean these, I leave this to the professional to clean/polishing as I have no experience.
