It's the imperfections in these rubies that caught my eye. The differing colors give more dimension. The hoops are handmade which is why the shapes are more organic.
These earrings measure approximately 2 cm on each side.
Rubies are pink to blood red. They are a stone of passion and purity. Rubies are known to be the queen and king of stones, having more value than diamonds in ancient times. It is supposed to give those who wear it a sense of power and confidence. The ruby is the birthstone for July.
