Beautiful Hand Made Wooden Memory Box engraved with the design and text shown in the first picture and personalized with your name, initials, or message. You can also choose to add a message on the inside lid of the box. If you are interested in a custom designed box, please send us a convo per Etsy messaging.

Our Boxes
All of our boxes are made from premium hardwood, no plywood or pressboard! We do not stain or paint any of our music boxes, but apply several finishing coats of lacquer to show off the natural wood grain.
Choose from 4 different woods (shown in the last picture of the listing): Ambrosia Maple, Mahogany, Cherry, and Walnut.
Each box is hand made. The box is 12”x8”x4".

To Order
1. From the drop-down boxes, choose your wood type, latch option, and if you would like to engrave the top of your box only, or the top and inside lid of your box. The top of your box will be engraved with the design and text shown in the first photo and your custom text. The inside lid will be engraved with your custom text.
2. In the Personalization Box, note the text you would like engraved on the top of your box to go along with the design. If you chose to engrave both the top and inside lid, please note the text you would like for the inside lid as well. (We do not have a specific limit on number of characters, but keep in mind that the more characters you have, the smaller the font will be.) Also note which style font you would like for your engraving. A list of the font choices is shown in the listing photos. If you do not list a font choice, we will use our default font: Gabriola.
Please be sure to double check all spelling and capitalization as we will engrave it EXACTLY as you have noted.

3. Add the item to your cart.

Tips for Choosing the Right Wood
~ Detailed Engravings or Engravings with a lot of text: If you're ordering a box with a detailed engraving, or an engraving with a lot of text, keep in mind that detailed engravings and smaller text shows up better on lighter colored wood (Ambrosia Maple or Cherry).
~Wood color and grain vary from piece to piece, even wood in the same species.
~Walnut wood, although normally darker, can have lighter contrast and the color can vary greatly.
~Ambrosia Maple wood, also known as Ghost Maple, also has varying color and grain. Although normally light, ambrosia maple wood is known for its dark grain contrasts, adding brown, gray, and bluish highlights to the wood. Ambrosia Maple wood also has worm holes. The worm holes and darker grain highlights come from the Ambrosia Beetle Inhabiting the Tree before it was harvested, hence the name “Ambrosia Maple”.
~Cherry wood and Mahogany wood have the most consistent coloring, although Cherry wood will turn darker over time.

-We select specific cuts for each music box, but if you have a specific preference, would like a lighter piece of walnut, an ambrosia maple piece with a lot of grain contrast, etc., please note your preference in the “Add Note to HandmadebyBryanC” box in your cart and we will do our best to pick a piece to your request.

As every box is hand made for every order, please allow adequate time for us to build, engrave, and finish your personalized box. Check the Shipping Info for processing time.

*Note: Please note the wood grains for all woods will vary from box to box, and the worm holes(a characteristic of Ambrosia Maple Wood) will vary from box to box.

Upon completion, this item is shipped USPS Priority Mail 2-3 Day for US deliveries, and UPS International Shipping 10-15 Day for International deliveries. International customers are responsible for any customs fees charged by their country before their order can be delivered. International customers will also have to supply an email address and phone number for offers us to note on your package for the delivery carrier.
