Cute miniature twin bell alarm clock Raketa 17 jewels. Quiet ticking vintage mechanical clock. The clock Raketa has a wristwatch's movement 2609HA under the hammering mechanism, so the clock ticking like a wristwatch. Silver-tone metal case. Good item for travelers and for those who do not like noise.

Size: height 9,cm (3,5''), diameter front side 5 cm (2'') backside 6cm (2.36''), thickness 2,4cm (1"). Clock Raketa is in good cosmetic condition with some signs of use and age (see photos). The clock is in good working condition and was professionally serviced recently.
Made in USSR in the 80s.

The Petrodvorets Watch Factory (RAKETA), located in Saint-Petersburg, was initially founded by Peter the Great in 1721 as a precious stone manufacturer. It supplied precious offers stones for the crown of the Tzars, for Fabergé, the Imperial palace, the Kremlin Stars, and Lenin's mausoleum.

In the 1930s the factory started manufacturing rubies for watch mechanisms, then watches under famous soviet brands. In 1962 the factory created its own new brand RAKETA in honor of the first cosmonaut Yuri Gagarin
