This listing is for a antique Limoges platter. It is large and round with gently scalloped edges. It was made in France by Haviland and Co of fine French porcelain, and it was hand painted. The back stamp dates it to the late 1800's offers, likely the 1880's or 1890's. It is more than 100 years old but is in good antique condition. It is free from chips and cracks . It is quite solid and heavy and weighs almost 3 1/4 pounds. The muted colours and grape design is lovely. The gold trim around the edges has faded in places and the back of the plate has some shelf marks but given its age it is in good shape.
