Kitschy child's snack plate depicts the dark finale of Grimm's Hansel and Gretel. Cheery gingerbread cookies surround the creepy central image of the Witch being pushed into offers an oven by the children. I've only used it decoratively because it's such a unique little plate, equally cheerful and gruesome. Made in Finland c. 1950s by Arabia.
