offers Japanese gyosho style calligraphy scroll. Three lines of gyosho calligraphy flanked by one smaller gyosho line to the left with two collector's marks to the lower left and one to the upper right. Ink on paper, mounted on cream paper scroll. Image size is 16 1/4 " wide x 16 3/4" high.

Provenance: from the collection of Alexander Murray from the Edo, Meiji, Taisho and Showa periods.

Good vintage condition with signs of wear and use commensurate with age: archival repair on back of scroll of one small edge tear upper right.
