VINTAGE/ANTIQUE CAMEO BROOCH WOMAN PROFILE SEA SHELL ROLLED GOLD FRAME PRE-1930

This older-than-your-grandma pink and white shell Cameo brooch is a fantastic
piece of early 20-th Century fashion trends and styles that were all the hype in Europe.

Made by E. J. Clewley & Co., around 1930, has classic design and very well-finished details offers on the carving.

Cameo is a method of carving an object such as an engraved gem, item of
jewellery or vessel came down to us from antiquity. Cameo jewelry became
especially popular during the 19-th Century, and the first decades of the
20-th, in Europe and were a symbol of social class and prestige.

The brooch has very good detail and is well finished. The Cameo is housed in a 9 Ct. Rolled Gold frame with pinback.

The brooch has normal minor wearing due time, small scratches. There are no cracks, no
dents, no chips, no damages. In excellent vintage condition!
