BURKUT is an almost 30 years old vintage Anatolian kilim, which was weaved in Yozgat, a city in the Central Anatolia Region of Turkey.
BURKUT is the eagle god in Turkic mythology who symbolizes power and sun. It is also the son of KAYRA and is referred to "bird with copper talons whose right-wing covers the sun while the left covers the moon". We believe that our BURKUT is as magnificent as the eagle god, is reminded of offers the glorious power of the sun.
It is a flat weave kilim with the length of 171 cm and a width of 95 cm which comes in a rectangular form. We believe that it is quite a unique piece that can be used in anywhere from your bathroom to the entryway.
