Natural White Buffalo material is mined in Nevada by my good friends the Otteson's. White Buffalo stone originates from the Tonopah Nevada area found in the same general veins as Dry Creek turquoise but has no copper content. Considering this fact, it should therefore not be called “white turquoise” as it does not have the same chemical composition as turquoise, which is a copper phosphate. Steven and I are a Father and Son cutting team the wife helps with offers photos and mailing so we keep it all in the family. We are American Indian cutters and have been cutting for several years (proof of our Native American heritage is available upon request). We are registered members of the federally recognized Native American tribe Wichita Indians out of Oklahoma.
To be clear “100% NATURAL” it is all turquoise no backing was used If it just says “NATURAL” it is natural and backed with JB Weld.
