Silver serving spoon: cream spoon made by the Dutch factory Niekerk, Schoonhoven Netherlands. The spoon has a round bowl with a twisted steel and a small ball at the top.

Lion passant: (probably II, sign is a bit worn): 835/1000
Minerva head M: Schoonhoven

Condition:
The spoon is in good condition. There are mild usage traces in the bowl.

There are three silver degrees in the Netherlands:
First degree silver: 925/1000 is an alloy of 92.5% silver and 7.5% copper or other metal. In some countries the term sterling silver is used for this.
Second degree silver: 833/1000 or 835/1000 is an alloy of 83.3%/ 83.5% silver and 16.7%/16.5% copper or other metal.
Third degree silver: 800/1000 is an alloy of 80% silver and 20% copper or other metal.
Second and third offers degree silver is mostly used for cutlery
