Mysterious and Quirky Little Bronze - Cloaked Figure - Marble offers Base.

Small bronze figure of a cloaked man, seated next to tree trunk, holding his head, with something in his other hand.
It measures 3 1/2" high and is on white marble base 3 1/2"x 2 1/2".
There is an inscription on the offers front of the bronze, that says "An Untractable Spider". No other marks or signature on bronze.
The figure appears to be a monk, perhaps dealing with a hangover. No spider visible.
Appears to be of 19th century origin, has wear to surface of bronze and to edges of marble.
