Vintage poodle wood match box case/holder. Purchased at an estate sale, this rare piece is from the 1950's. It actually matches the Florenza poodle matches the pin cushion I have for sale, but it is not Florenza. The original owner just had a lot offers of poodle items. It is made of metal and is painted an antiqued off white and the poodle has lots of texture to reflect its curls. It has blue rhinestone eyes. Any wood match box of the same size just slides into the case. There is tension, so the box will not fall out. It measures 1 5/8” long and it is not hallmarked. The box of matches in it right now is taped in areas, but stIll functional, but you probably want to use a newer one. The only other one I could find sells for $99 on EBay. What a unique gift this would make! M1 Will arrive boxed or in a jewelry pouch.
