Fabulous Vintage offers Wood Lap Desk with Hand Painted Lid

This is one of those pieces that we guarantee will be noticed, no matter what else is in the room. It's just too lovely and too unusual to not take center stage. Probably made as a labor of love for a wife or mother by someone handy with wood tools, the slanted wood lap desk has a painted flower on its lid and two beautiful brass hinges. The entire top has been sealed with a high gloss finish that absolutely begs to be touched. The desk is in excellent, age-related condition -- there are no scratches or chips.
