A Vide poche is a small receptacle where items are deposited to empty your pockets .
Authentic Art Nouveau aprox 1900 decorative dish which is silver re-plated , the primary material is probably copper .
The dish has been polished , replated with silver , and been polished again .
It looks like new and like it never was used even dough it is way over 100 years old .
All this is done in a professional way so all you have to do to keep it this way
is clean it from time to time .
This Art Nouveau dish is decorated with typical floral and leaves motifs driven or chased (repoussé) in the metal .
On both handles a womans head is pictured .

The artistic metal design works as a serving tray or platter but would make an equally strong and sculptural statement as wall decor.

It is probably made in Belgium but unmarked so maker unknown .

This vide poche is 36 cm. x 23 cm. and it is 8 cm. high .
It weighs 0,5 Kg.
