Vintage circa 1930's West-Cut K-5 (Western Cutlery Co) fixed offers blade sheath knife, bifurcated tang, leather handle aluminum pommel and guard

offers The tang stamps is very worn but under magnification it appears to read: West-Cut Boulder. Colo Pat.No. 1,967,479 which is for a bifurcated (split) tang with stacked leather either side, small aluminum guard and pommel. It was found with the sheath though it's not likely original. The knife measures 9 3/4" long with a 5" blade and is sharp. Belive this is a model K-5 unless a Cutler out there can tell me more.
