This fun play costume with tricorne hat is perfect for dress-up fun as an 18th century soldier, sea captain, Hamilton cast member, or anything else they can dream up.
This versatile, washable costume set can be worn four (or more!) ways—as a pirate, farmer, cowboy/cowgirl, or Revolutionary War hero, or any variations your creative child envisions. (So many options… what will they choose first?)
The hat converts to different shapes simply by pressing the brim up against Velcro tabs. Both the hat and vest can be decorated with the included patches-- or ones your child makes themselves (using our DIY kit: https://www.etsy.com/sg-en/listing/853768814/).
Not just for Halloween or costume parties, this little costume set makes a gift, or an outfit for a homeschool history project. Built tough enough for years of enthusiastic play, it stores a lot of creative options in a small space. Washable, wrinkle-resistant pieces clean up easily after messy play. Designed to easily fit costume-loving children from ages 4 through 10: large, comfy armholes are designed to accommodate larger children yet still stay in place on the shoulders of smaller kids.

•soft 100% polyester loop velour on hat and trims
•100% acrylic felt for patches

DURABLE CONSTRUCTION
•Neatly finished edges and tidy seams stand up to years of play
•Hard-wearing fabrics don't shred or stretch out of shape, yet are soft on skin
•Patches assembled from sturdy, tough-wearing embroidered felt
•Velcro is sewn on and/or attached with permanent adhesive
•Care tags are located inside pockets (no itchy, tickle-y stuff at the neckline!)

Each item in this set is handmade and therefore, no two are identical. Please allow for slight differences from the photographs.
I lovingly craft these products in small batches with help from several local seamstresses. We rotate between designs throughout the year to maintain stock, but items do occasionally run out.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS:
Vest and scarf: Machine wash warm, tumble dry no heat. Non-chlorine bleach when needed. Do not iron. If items are wrinkled, please steam gently or run through a low heat dryer cycle with a damp towel. Avoid high heat, which may melt loop velour.
Hat: Machine wash cool, hang dry. Hat brim may be ironed with low heat and a pressing cloth, as needed.
Patches and Eyepatch: spot clean and air dry.
