We Are So Pleased To Offer For Your Consideration This Antique 1920s Edwin M Knowles Semi Vitreous Footed Porcelain Covered Soup Tureen From East Liverpool, Ohio. It features a delicate rose design. The rose colors are yellow, and three different shades of pink There are also green leaves and gold highlights around the rose pattern. For the age of this fine porcelain piece, it is in surprisingly wonderful condition. There are a couple of very small chips(See Last Photo), and a few 'age spots' on the inside. The intricately designed footed base, swirled handles, and fancy knob on the lid are missing some of the gold paint. They have zero chips, cracks, scratches or crazing. There is, of course, some shelf wear on the feet. I see no scratches, except for a very small, surface one on the inside left. The measurements of this antique beauty are: 12 inches across from handle to handle. 3.5 inches tall, with the lid, 3.25 inches without, eight inches across at the widest spot,. The lid top is 1 x 1.75. The inside of the bowl is just shy of ten inches across by 7.25 inches wide, with a 5.5 x 4.25 footed base.
