This is a never used purple clay teapot. Purple clay is known for absorbing some flavor, making a better steep of tea with each offers use. It came from teavana some 10 years ago before they closed all of their stores. I could never decide on a favorite type of tea I wanted to use in this pot, so it's just been a cool looking decoration.
