Each teapot is painted and decorated manually, using the overglaze technique. Unusual offers paints are used to decorate tableware, such as cobalt oxide (black paint that turns blue after firing in an oven at extremely high temperatures) and super-paint, which is made from liquid gold. Painting is carried out by hand using underglaze and overglaze techniques, as wells as the decal technique.
The main painting on the body of the dishes is protected by layers of transparent glass glaze.
