I turned both the offers container a lid on the potter's wheel. The following day I trimmed the bottom and made the handle to look like a seashell or tassel and put it on top. I then set it on my drying shelf wrapped in plastic so it will dry slowly, preventing cracks.
I fired it in my kiln to about 2300 degrees to bisque ware.
I then glazed it in two colours of glaze to achieve this running glaze colour. With other pottery, I fired it to melt the glaze colour on to about 2900 degrees.
I enjoy making my pottery in my basement studio in central Canada not far from Lake Huron, one of the Great Lakes.
