1930s Mauve Pink Jacket - offers Small Medium Wool Knit Cardigan w Flourishes - Trapunto Padded Top Stitching - Authentic 30s 40s Era - Bust 36

1930s pink knit jacket is a rare find, never worn and ready to enjoy. This dusky mauve wool cardigan has elegant trapunto flourishes along the neckline and front edge, simple and feminine with a pair of welt pockets at the waist. The basted stitches over the pocket shows it's never been worn, though there is evidence of moth damage (see Condition Detail below). Long sleeves can be cuffed broadly to 3/4 length. A wonderful find from the late 30s to early 40s.

Never worn but shows storage flaws, as there are approx 20-25 small repaired moth holes, a few vaguely offers noticeable, and approx 10-15 more tiny threadbare specks (most located at shoulders); the upper edge of the shoulders is very slightly beige, with a bit of pinkish dye irregularity to top of left shoulder (see seventh photo); note that the pockets are closed with basted hand-stitching, which is meant to be removed before first wearing; freshly washed

Washing Instructions
Dry clean; or lukewarm hand wash (no wringing or agitation), shape and dry flat, steam if needed
