Antique Art Nouveau Stamped brass coin style belt
I have done some research on the piece and it dates from 1901 right in the Art Nouveau period
This piece was made for women with a tiny waist or women wearing corsets. This would only fit a tiny waist
This is a stunning belt each segment of the belt shows different cameo like face and shoulders of typical Art Nouveau style ladies
Each segment is linked via four brass hoops
It's in great condition the belt fastens with a clip snd hoop like fastener
This clips as it should with a nice secure fitting
Gorgeous flowing and elegant typical of pieces from that period
Ideal present for someone who still loves the Art Nouveau period
58cm in its full length
This kind of piece sadly would look even better split up and made into jewellery the quality is very nice
