Product code: Rare Antique Crown Devon Fieldings England offers Blush Ware Floral Serving Bowl
A gorgeous antique blush ware serving bowl with intricate floral design and gold edging. Based on the pottery mark, this serving bowl is from c.1917-1930 Crown Devon Fieldings Stoke On Trent England mark at the back of the bowl. Crown Devon pottery was instrumental in the development of the lustre-ware pottery, and famous for the vellum blush ware range, which is hugely popular today. The Crown Devon began in 1870 when Simon Fielding invested in the Railway Works at Stoke on Trent. They began to produce the popular Majolica glazed pottery under the S. Fielding & Co backstamp. In the late 1880s, Crown Devon produced their popular Vellum range. In the early 1900s, Devon began to expand the product range. Approx size: L9 1/2" x H2 1/2" Due to the age of the bowl, some of the gold edging are faded, and there are hairline cracks as shown in the last four pictures. Offers offers are welcomed.
