When it comes to amber, whether you wish your plugs to look larger or not, the pronounced flare creates a "fishbowl" effect, allowing light to shine through more amber which gives a big, bright looking sunny plug. Starting at 00g, we give these plugs a weighted flare in the back to counterbalance the pronounced front flare, so it doesn't pull down the front of the hole in your lobe.

Amber is clear, like glass or hard candy, and a great shade of yellow. Amber is an ideal material for plugs because it is a natural, untreated substance and is a pleasure to wear in your ears.
