I hand craft all my pens using only the finest materials available. I spend days making sure every detail is perfect. This pen has been sanded and finished in a 20 step process that leaves a strong and durable acrylic finish that will last a lifetime.

The wood I chose for this pen is one of my favorites- Ancient Bog Oak. Older than the Pyramids of Egypt, Ancient Bog Oak has lain undisturbed in the bogs of England for over 4000 years. Giant oak offers trees (upwards of 100 feet) grew there until the basin was flooded and the trees died where the stood. After collapsing they were preserved in the mud and silt. It's hard to photograph, but the wood is a great mix of blacks, grays, and browns.

Each pen comes with a certificate of Authenticity verifying the age and origin of the wood.
