This baby quilt features the well-loved traditional pattern called Cathedral Windows. This is the thirty-second time I have created a baby quilt in this design. Each time is a new adventure, since each quilt comes out slightly different depending on the color scheme. Although the quilt is challenging to make, the end result makes it worth the effort.

This appealing handmade baby blanket is sewn from new pre-shrunk quality cotton fabrics in soft floral and solid fabrics. The quilt can be washed and dried by machine on moderate settings. A vigorous spin cycle should be avoided.

The gender neutral quilt measures 39 inches by 39 inches and has a white, pink and blue paisley cotton backing. The edging is a double-fold white cotton binding . The batting is a low loft polyester. The fourth border has embroidered topstitching and the final has top-stitching in two coordinating thread colors.
