This is a centenary set, for the 100th anniversary of the birth of J. R. R. Tolkien. John Howe cover art. This edition was first published by Grafton in 1991. This paperback edition copyright 1993, these are 7th and 8th printings.

Unread LOTR trilogy set in very nice condition. Each book has some very minor flaws, most notably the overall edge, corner and shelf wear. The Fellowship book offers seems to have a damaged corner - looks like a manufacturing issue. It's minor but noticeable. Please see the photos. All of the books appear to be unread - no creases to their spines. No handwriting or indication of previous ownership. The storage box is in really nice shape. Still fully intact and doing it's job protecting the books. Vintage Item. Sold As Is.
