Antique French jewelry offers box with beveled glass, 1800s, watch holder

Antique case of beautiful workmanship for watches. The box is of French origin and was made between the end of the nineteenth century and the beginning of the twentieth.
Originally it was used to store the pocket watch, but it lends easily also jewel case to store your pendants.
The door and side walls are made of glass, while the finishing are in brass.
The interior is lined in yellow velvet and at the top there is a hook where you can hang a clock or a pendant.

On the upper part it is possible to see a design in the glass, usually it was present in the objects brought to loved ones as souvenirs.

As shown in the photo, there is a small break in the glass at the top. Overall in excellent condition.
