Rare J. R. Williams, Out Our Way, Cowboy Cartoons. a 1927 printed collection of Williams famous cartoons.

This is an exceptionally, rare collection of the famous J. R. Williams cowboy cartoons. Williams had a very popular comic strip with the same name, and being in printed in 1927, this is likely the earliest comic collection entirely dedicated to a western theme. Williams strip was widely loved, and even inspired a young Charles Schultz.

This book is in Vintage condition. The first couple pages have come loose from the binding, and the binding is in fragile condition. The inside of the cover has drawings of William's characters, and I thought they were printed in color, but I believe they have been colored in...quite well). I've taken many close-up pics so you can get a complete feel for the condition and uniqueness of this antique book.
