It comes framed and is double matted in white (primary mat) with a 1/4 inch rose color matt showing around the inner circle, as the secondary mat. It is beautifully matted. This limited-edition print is of a winter day sleigh ride and an Amish family bringing home the family Christmas Tree in the sleigh! The children are covered in blankets to keep them warm on this chilly winter day. They are holding music sheets and singing on the way home. In the background you can see a church with a beautiful steeple and two other homes or buildings. Snow envelopes the ground and the wispy trees no longer have their leaves. The entire print is framed in a circle of wispy blue. It is simply gorgeous! The wood frame has a few minor scuffs and scratches throughout the frame from age and use- I tried to take pictures of the frame close up. It was framed by Turner Framing Inc out of Great Falls Va. It comes ready to hang (missing one of the bottom corner tabs that keeps it off the wall).
This print measures 14.5" high X13.75" wide framed.
Sight is 7" X 7 diameter of the circle.
P. Buckley Moss is an internationally acclaimed artist who was professionally trained in art at Cooper Union College. She currently lives in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia. She has become famous for her paintings of the Amish community.
