Vintage Brass Trinket Box Marlin Fish Pattern. Los Castillos Style Hinged offers Inlaid Malachite Lapis Cigar Box. Mexico 50s Jewelry Lidded Case

This listing is for a Mexican modernist mixed metals and stones beautifully crafted cigar box. In the style of Los Castillos.

It is made of brass with a malachite, turquoise, lapis stones box top. Marlin fish brass pattern inlay on the lid. It is lined with exotic wood. Four corner feet.

The box is stamped "Hecho en Mexico" on bottom and also has a series of numbers engraved with offers chisel.
It is in very nice vintage condition with light patina.

It measures approx. 7.75" long x 4.25" large x 1" high.
It is less than 1" deep so it would be good for small cigars (or any other little things such as jewelry!)
