VINTAGE L & H MODEL 54 ELECTRIC LIVESTOCK BRANDING IRON - CATTLE RANCH WESTERN DECOR
This vintage, electric livestock brander was manufactured by L & H Electric Brander Company. The manufacture's brass plate on this pieces handle reads "L&H Electric Brander, Mfd. In USA Mandan, NJ, Model 54, Volts 115, Serial #106493, Watts 1500" The brander is very sturdily built, weatherproof, light weight and easy to handle. The iron heating elements on these branders heat evenly and are designed not to overheat. This L & H branding tool measures ~ 15 1/2" L x 7" W and weighs 3 lbs. The branding iron is completely original and has not been cleaned or restored. It heats up quickly and is in good working condition with no signs of offers damage. It is in vintage condition with normal scratches, nicks and dings. The Iron brackets do show some minor rust but are still in great condition. The brand forms the letters "D" and "G". I tested the brand on the piece of wood you see in the first picture. This brander is functional and ready for use, collection or display!
