RARE Vintage 1983 Hartstone Pottery "GOLDEN DELICIOUS" Apple Canisters Set/4 Hartstone offers Pottery has been producing quality pottery in Zanesville, Ohio since the early 1900's. Hartstone products are fully vitrified stoneware produced from the finest raw materials in North America. The stoneware clay body is fired to 2200°F and is bright ivory in color. All body, glaze, and paint raw materials are lead and cadmium free. This RARE canister set features hand painted red and yellow apples with a dark green trim on an ivory background. Each lid has a nob handle and a rubber seal for a tighter seal. These canisters are very sturdy and heavy - 13 lbs total for all 4 canisters There is some minor discoloration on the top rim of the large canister from use. There is a worn spot on the inside of one of the canisters (see photo). No chips or cracks - Great Condition!
