24×36 King Post Truss offers Pavilion

Because of the strong roof design, this 24×36 king post truss outbuilding doesn't need a center support! That creates 864 square feet of clear floor space that you can use with no obstructions! This pavilion can be used for so many things: an open carport or enclosed garage with storage, or a tranquil cabin in the woods offers somewhere.

This pavilion has so much style and charm! The beautiful through tenons in the king post joinery make a great statement of craftsmanship. The sturdy construction includes 8×10 posts, plates and ridges, and 8×8 purlins. You get a make for a high volume space because of the 9 in 12 roof pitch and the generous height of the top plates. The beautiful roof system consists of principal rafters and common rafters over purlins, with embellished rafter tails that add a great detail.

As soon as you buy this plan you will receive a link to download the pdf. This plan set is formatted to print out at 11”x17” to make it easy to read. It can be printed at your neighborhood copy shop. The set is 28 pages and includes 3D axonometric drawings of the frame, assembled and exploded. Every timber is labeled on the exploded drawings, and those labels match up to the dimensioned piece drawings so there is no guesswork involved in cutting the frame. We also include a timber list to make shopping for your materials easier.

When you purchase a set of plans, you are purchasing a limited copyright license for a design giving you the right to build that structure one time at your location. Your copyright license was granted when you paid the purchase fee. You do not have the right to build the design a second time unless you have a signed agreement with Timber Frame HQ. Please note that copyright law protects “derivative works” the same as it protects the original design. That means that making some changes doesn't make it a new design. We do not allow modifications of our designs by others, without permission. Your copyright license does not allow another professional to represent our design work as their own.

Timber Frame HQ retains all common law, statutory and other reserved rights, including the copyright. This applies even when you have participated in the development of the design to a significant degree.
