About the Artist:
Hayley Carruthers; BFA, MFA is an up and coming artist. These pieces are some of her earlier works done in the labour intensive technique of hand pulled printing through silkscreens know as a Serigraph. This process takes multiple passes over the same paper laying different layers of colours. Several sheets are done at the same time to replicate the design but ultimately each one is slightly different than the others. Even though these print was chosen by the artist as the best from the original run to be included in the numbered editions they are all still, by design, originals.
