This beautiful Victorian serving knife is both beautifully-crafted and unusual.

The knife is crafted in Victorian steel, set into a natural antler handle. It was made by Harrison & Co in Sheffield, England, circa 1890. A shaped blade is attached to the antler handle with a silver plate ferrule. The base of the antler handle has a plated end-cap.

The patination on the knife has been purposefully left in place, to enhance the sense of age. However it could easily be polished to high shine, if the buyer should choose to do so.

The knife is in good antique condition, with no notable signs of age other than the patination previously mentioned (please see photos). The piece is believed to dare from the late 1800s.
