Shades of offers Amber

This is a hand coiled basket by Lin Pilkinton. The base is shades of a amber stone that has been set in resin. The coiling is done with longleaf pine needles that have ben hand dyed in rust and amber and stitched with artificial sinew. The top coils are sweetgrass. There are 3 slices of walnut shell stitched between the coils with a variaty of beads for accent. There are beads also on the rim in shades of amber. This basket is 2" tall by 7" wide. offers
