Product code: Vintage Murano Red Argento offers Amberina Blown Glass Rolled Edge Bowl Bullicante Cont
This bowl has it all & the photos do not do it justice! This style is frequently attributed to the 1960s studio of Fratelli Toso in Murano, Italy but it could be by one of several Murano artists. First it's a very unusual color - amberina - which means it goes from deep orange red at the top through lighter shades of orange to clear at the base. Lovely & difficult bullicante (controlled bubble) technique goes from large bubbles at the top to small at the base. It also features silver aventurine (flakes) throughout the piece. This gives you a great visual combination of silver flakes showing on the rolled edge from the bottom and gold flakes when seen through the orange tone glass on the top, very eye catching as well as the large bubbles being featured in the rolled edge of the bowl. Highly polished clear base, this would be outstanding lit from above or below. My photos are my description Excellent pre loved condition Colors vary due offers to viewing devices Measurements are approximate Pl.
