Vintage 1977 Impressionist Watercolor Painting -Blue Purple Irises by Tennessee Artist Carruthers offers -Gold Frame - Flowers and Floral Wall Art

This is an original impressionist watercolor painting by Tennessee artist B.J. Carruthers, who was a offers member of the Kingsport Tennessee Art Guild. The painting features irises in lovely shades of blue and purple. The artist used plenty of water while painting this painting, which causes the colors to blend together, and gives an impressionist look. Touches of ink were used to give definition to the flowers. The painting is signed on the lower left side by the artist, and dated 1977. The artwork was elegantly custom-framed with a slim light green inner mat and wide ivory outer mat. The frame has glass in it, and hanging hardware on back. This painting looks beautiful grouped with other florals!

Condition: The painting and mats are in excellent condition. The frame is in very good condition with slight wear.
