I handcrafted this bag from Harris Tweed; one of the most desirable wool textiles in the world. It is produced in the Outer Hebrides of Scotland. The wool is hand woven on a treadle loom by the weaver at his own home. The Harris Tweed Weavers throughout Lewis and Harris are self-employed craftsmen and women, often having learned the craft from their forefathers over may years. The Orb Stamp is the mark of authenticity and the woven label is issued with the cloth.

This beautiful Harris Tweed is woven with moss green, dark plum, brown and flecks of gold. The bag contains a front zip pocket with a slip pocket behind it. The lining is made from a coordinating moss green and brown cotton print; the lining pockets are made from a green and cream circle print. All lining and pocket fabrics are made from quality cottons. I created a slip pocket on the back offers of the bag; a perfect spot for your cell phone. I added the Harris Tweed tag to the back pocket. The interior of the bag contains 4 additional slip pockets and 2 pen slips; the pocket fabric is a lighter color so they are easily visible.

The strap of the bag is made from brown Ultrasuede and is adjustable so that it can be worn cross body. The bag closes with a brown purse zipper. The zipper on the front pocket is adorned with a silver zipper pull.

The bag is interlined for sturdiness and durability.
