Vintage Ornate Frame Rectanuglar Rococo Cast Iron Victorian Picture Frame Gold offers Gilt

This is a beautiful cast iron picture frame, finished with gold gilt that has created a wonderful vintage patina over the years. The leaves and scroll design are reminiscent of the ornate decor of the Victorian era.

It measures 11 offers 1/2" tall x 7 3/8" wide x 3 1/2" deep. The square opening for the picture measures 3 5/8" x 5 3/8".

There is glass in the frame. There are two metal clips to hold the picture in place on the opening in the back. The top clip is missing.

It is in very nice condition. There is a hairline crack on the top right corner leaf (see last picture). It is a solid, weighty piece.
