Silver 950 cross (St. Nina) pendant cloisonne enamel with floral ornament in bright primary colors on a gold background.
This beautiful, little silver cross is designed and made by me with fine silver 950* and decorated with vitreous enamel called Minankari (Georgian cloisonne enamel).

The Minankari, also known as Cloisonné or Vitreous Enamel is an intricate and laborious, ancient jewellers technique.
The enamel becomes the final artwork after several firing operations in a special kiln and then, time-consuming polishing, demanding high level of an expertise.
The finished piece is unique and it is almost impossible to find two identical ornaments.
