One of three printing variants, this is Variant Two of the illustrated edition as it printed by Rogers-Kellogg-Stillson, Inc. and bound by Kingsport Press, Inc.
Cardboard offers slipcase has heavy signs of wear, including spots, stains (including a black spot on the illustration), worn-through corners and edges, and a large crack that runs the length of the rear of the slipcase.
Beige hardcovers show some wear such as spine lean, bumped corners and spine head & tail, a spot to the rear board, light scratches, and shelfwear. Top edge shows a spot where there was excessive adhesive used on the front pastedown, which bled onto the top edge of pages. Previous owner's name on the front pastedown, there does not appear to be any other writing. While the slipcase is in poor condition, the book itself is in Very Good Plus (VG+) condition.
