The compote measures 7.50 inches tall and is 10.00 inches to the top of the handle of the lid. The top rim is 4 5/8 inches wide and the base is 3.50 inches wide. The dish and lid are red glass while the base is clear glass. The base edge is covered in a wide gold band and the stem is covered in gold. The dish and lid have a gold patterned rim, raised dimensional flowers in blue, pink and purple and green and white leaves. The gold is raised and intact.
