Original plates - 7 years after the first printing by Doubleday (1900) - were carried over to this edition, with a new title page added.

The book measures 8-inches X 5.25-inches with 557 pages. offers Cover is red cloth with gilt lettering.

The book is in good condition, considering its very old age. NO writing on any pages and no pages are torn. Binding and spine in good condition with all pages well attached. Some minor foxing and minor cover edge wear with cloth moderately rubbed and spine darkened.

A hard to find and very collectible edition of what was a controversial American novel, long ago.
