Autumn Leaves Ruffled offers Bowl

Autumn is full of warm and beautiful colors just like the ones capture in this 12" ruffled bowl.

* Each leaf is hand offers cut from a variety of red, yellow, and amber glass.
* Each leaf is also cut into sections and placed on a clear sheet of glass.
* After all leaves are in place powdered glass frit is gently sifted into the sections to create the veins.
* Finally all of the spaces in between the leaves is filled with fine and medium frit.
* After the assembly is complete the project is placed in a kiln and fired to 1500 degrees to a full fuse.
* The final step is to place the piece in the kiln on a ceramic mold to slump to the ruffled bowl shape,
