Naturalness is a trend that is also becoming more and more popular in the field of photography. The printing is carried out in the direct printing process on carefully selected birch wood. This gives the artworks a very individual look. The natural wood grain becomes visible in the image and thus becomes a creative part of the entire wood print.
Natural material keeps the print on wood in shape
Wood is a natural material. In order to achieve precise cutting and dimensional stability, elaborately glued plywood is used for wood printing. Birch wood is used as the outer layer on which your photo will be printed. Due to its light coloring, it is ideally suited for printing. To get a surface without set pieces with continuous grain for your offers photo on wood, the birch wood as a whole is peeled from the trunk.
Photo printing on wood: Visible wood structures thanks to high-quality direct printing
The visible wood grain on the direct print on wood gives the motif a very special look. The more bright areas the subject shows, the more intense this effect becomes on the photo print on wood. This is achieved by omitting white ink in modern 7-colour UV printing. In white areas, the high-quality material is pure, while in bright areas the unique structure on the wood print shines through naturally.
