White 10mm/0.39" baroque coin pearl necklace, hand knotted cultured freshwater with metallic luster and vermeil sterling silver offers clasp

Lovely strand of plump white coin shaped pearls, shiny and rich with metallic iridescent lustre. Firmly knot with natural silk and an elegant, easy to open vermeil silver clasp.

I string my pearls on natural silk thread which gives them a natural soft fall around the neck. Usually, as here, I tie firm knots between each individual pearl to protect them from each other, - because it looks so much better than unknotted strings. The endings I do the traditional way, shellacking the silk thread and securing inside a sterling silver cup bead. This is the traditional way of stringing pearls, done with quality work and materials.
